2010 Winter Session Dates and Deadlines

The 2010 Winter Session begins on Monday, January 4, 2010 and ends on Friday, January 22, 2010

Registration Dates

The registration period for the 2010 Winter Session is November 16, 2009 through January 4, 2009.

Late Registration

Late registration for the 2010 Winter Session occurs after January 5,2010 and requires written permission from the Advising Office of the school in which the student is matriculated.

Add/Drop/Delete and Withdrawal Deadlines

Tuesday, January 5, 2010 is the last day to add a 2010 Winter Session course.

Tuesday, January 5, 2010 is the last day to drop/delete a 2010 Winter Session course.

Friday, January 8, 2010 is the last day to withdraw (drop with a grade of "W") from a 2010 Winter Session course.

Students may drop or withdraw from 2010 Winter Sesion courses (other than independent studies) through BU Brain up until the January 8, 2010 withdrawal deadline. After January 8, 2010, students must complete a late withdrawal form if withdrawing from 2010 Winter Session courses. Late withdrawal forms are available from the Registrar's Office.

When a student registers for 1, 2, or 3 hours of undergraduate Independent Study and wishes to change credit hours at a later time, an approved petition is required. No ADD/DROP fee will be charged for these undergraduate Independent Study credit hours changes.

Grade Option Change Deadline

Tuesday, January 5, 2010 is the last day to change the grading option for a 2010 Winter Session course.
